Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 base salary + bonus potential
About the Opportunity
A manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join its finance team in Scottsdale. This highly visible role will partner with executive leadership, operations, supply chain, and international business units to drive financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial acumen with advanced analytical and business intelligence capabilities to support continued growth across domestic and global markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Analyze financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital investments, and growth plans.
- Design and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools utilizing Power BI.
- Partner with manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, and operations leaders to evaluate performance and drive efficiencies.
- Perform detailed variance analysis on revenue, margins, inventory, production costs, and operating expenses.
- Support financial planning and reporting for domestic and international operations.
- Prepare executive-level presentations and recommendations based on financial analysis and business trends.
- Drive process improvements, reporting automation, and data integrity initiatives across the FP&A function.
- Support strategic projects, including business expansion, acquisitions, and operational improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 4-5+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing and/or distribution environments.
- Strong financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills.
- Advanced Power BI experience, including dashboard development and data visualization.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- Experience working with ERP systems and large data sets.
- Exposure to international business operations, global reporting, or multinational organizations preferred.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
